All about hmeschooling here. Let me see, to introduce myself. Well obviously my name is Penny Raine, I am momma to 8 youngins, 1 with Jesus, the rest still here all in one house, that is until last year when the oldest got married. Now she has a husband and they have a home of their own and a baby on the way. I am wife to minister hubby known locally as “jumpin Jim” we have been married since ‘86, goodness how many years IS THAT? We all live on a horse farm in Mid TN where our favorite thing to do is worship the Lord. Want to see a picture?

Why do I blog? I blog because I have something to say.

You can read more about me at my everyday blog pennyraine.com . We live on a horse farm in TN with a bigger than average family. I blog about lots of things, including blogging , farm living, my passion for Jesus, my incredible family, cooking, and more, but here I blog about homeschooling.

We have been homeschooling since 1989, that is when our first child was born. You see that is when it starts. Even folks who are against homechooling have homeschooled. Homeschooling is teaching your baby to talk, teaching your baby to walk and later to potty-train. If you are a parent it comes naturally. It doesn’t have to be so hard and complicated. My goal wth this bog is to share resources and answers that will help encourage you. There is no better teacher than a parent. God chose YOU to parent YOUR child, and teaching is just part of parenting. So what if you don’t know calculus, neither did the math professor before he learned it. Homeschooling has become so popular that there is a great curriculum for anything you need, all it takes is some willingness and faith .
